Flat exhaust gaskets are slimmer and help prevent blockage of the exhaust port when squished
To determine which style you need inspect your exhaust pipe headers. if they have a tapered shape use tapered gaskets. If they have a flat smooth square shape use flat exhaust gaskets. If you are unsure the tapered gaskets work on both and seal great!
